Questions about carbs and low carb diets/foods?

I'm trying to lose weight quickly, but in a healthy manner. How many carbs should I eat in a day to lose fat? I'm eating around 1500 calories a day and exercising. What are some low/no carb foods (other than meat)? Also, if a diet is high in fats and low in carbs, will it help you lose weight? Thank you in advance :)
(If you want, a 1 day menu for this diet would be helpful)
